Noul guvern tunisian format azi, la câteva zile după fuga preşedintelui Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, este unul de uniune naţională, care nu se grăbește să rupă legăturile cu fostul regim. Guvernul va fi condus de actualul premier, Mohammed Ghannouchi şi are rolul de a pregăti alegerile anticipate.

Trei lideri ai opoziţiei au obţinut posturi în echipa executivă, în vreme ce mai mulţi miniştri din fostul guvern, printre care cei ai apărării, internelor și externelor şi-au păstrat funcţiile. Potrivit Reuters, citat de BBC, Ahmed Ibrahim şi Mustafa Ben Jaafar sunt doi dintre reprezentanții opoziției aflați în noul cabinet.
