Managerul suspendat al oltenilor trebuie să primească până în martie 1,8 milioane de euro, sumă cu care l-a împrumutat pe Mititelu în vara anului trecut, dar vrea şi despăgubiri de 5 milioane de euro pentru faptul că a fost înlăturat de la echipă.

"Clubul Universitatea Craiova va suporta consecinţele contractuale. Această suspendare nu există în cartea fotbalului, este o găselniţă a lui Mititelu pentru a întîrzia decizia. Nu-l voi ierta pe Mititelu pentru nimic în lume. Voi recupera toţi banii pe care mi-i datorează acest om. Gestul pe care l-a făcut cînd m-a oprit la poarta cantonamentului îl va costa mult. El a semnat un act prin care s-a angajat să facă nişte lucruri pe care nu le-a făcut, dimpotrivă.
